Gorman – Flocchini Wedding September 26, 2009

I wanted to commend you and your staff for an experience that we and our guests will never forget.  As one can surmise, a wedding can elevate emotions as every detail is examined and re-examined.  Jamie was the consummate professional and very patient in managing the complexities of my daughter’s wedding.

Her demeanor is to be commended.  I would also like to acknowledge Artis Kalson for his masterful work on the wedding cake and the groom’s cake. They were absolutely fantastic.

I had received assurances from Chef Gavin Stephenson that the food would be served hot. Not only were all the dinners served at the appropriate temperature , they were outstanding. I am not exaggerating when I say that almost everyone was extremely pleased with their dinner. Given the variety it is a testament to Gavin and his staff’s ability to prepare and serve this many.

I would like to say thank you to Olga Marco and Kirsten Lyons who managed the event until the end. They were attentive to our needs without impeding the proceedings.  Finally Rod I would like to thank you for coordinating all of this.

The entire staff at the Fairmont could not have been easier to deal with. We have recommended this venue to our friends.

Best regards,
Kevin M. Gorman

Jillian and Colin Classy and Fabulous May, 31st, 2008

Jillian is undoubtedly one of the most amazingly beautiful brides to ever grace our ballroom.  Her refinement and elegance fit perfectly within the timeless setting we created for her and Colin’s spring wedding.  From her classic chignon to the white orchids delicately adorning her cake, this wedding was the epitome of class.   Crystals, black satin and white florals were chosen as the decor elements to compliment the look.  The guests feasted on a quintessential Seattle menu of Dungeness Crab Cakes, Pear Carpaccio Salad and guests’ choice of Cedar Plank Smoked Salmon or Oven Roasted Filet.  The Vanilla Chiffon Cake was the finishing touch to the amazing meal.jillian-in-window

Amy and Matthew’s Classic Winter Wedding December 30th, 2007

When I met Amy, I was struck by how much this bride knew exactly what she wanted.  She wanted to marry her groom, Matthew, more than anything near the dawn of the new year in the Spanish Ballroom.   We worked for well over a year together with her mother to make her dream a reality.  Amy was so calm, organized, and detailed, she made my job incredibly easy.  When the December day came for their nuptials, a stunning bride appeared.  Sometimes a easy going bride can turn into a bundle of nerves on the day of the wedding; however, Amy was as calm and collected as ever.  Taking some of the most gorgeous and even award winning photos of the year!

Corah and Justin’s Fall Elegance November 23rd, 2008

Corah Sarsfield and Dr. Justin Olsen chose a November afternoon in the Spanish Ballroom to start their new life together.  I met Corah and her mother in October of 2007 following the couple’s engagement.  The Spanish Ballroom was the perfect compliment to the rich fall tones that she chose for her florals.  The bride and groom had an incredible bridal party of seven bridesmaids and seven groomsmen from all across the country.  Since the wedding ended at five o’clock in the evening, they still had the entire evening to spend celebrating with their friends.
